Poole Park

2 lovely children's play areas sit at opposite ends of the large park. Poole Park has a large saltwater lake where you can have a go at different watersports. You will also find cricket pitches, crazy golf, a putting green, tennis courts, outdoor gym equipment, a miniature railway and public toilets. The Ark is located within the park and has a large soft play, café and ice rink. There are small car parks within the grounds but please note the parking restrictions do vary.

Whitecliff Play Area, Poole

Set on the side of Poole Harbour the Park has spectacular views. The large play area is fenced and has lots to do including a climbing tower, swings and a large sandpit. The park also has picnic benches and toilets can be found near the free car park.

Hamworthy Park, Lulworth Ave, Poole

The park and beach covers 11 hectares with amazing views over Poole Harbour. The park has an outdoor play area, large padding pool, café and toilets.

Littledown Park, Bournemouth

Lovely park with fenced pond and large grassy area perfect for picnics. There's also a paddling pool, play area, ice cream and drinks kiosk plus the Littledown Railway which runs on a Wednesday and a Sunday.

Red Hill Common, Red Hill, Bournemouth

The Park and Common is a historic Nature Reserve covering 25 hectares. The popular Park has a children's play area, paddling pool (open from May), tennis courts, café and toilets.

Bournemouth Gardens

Bournemouth Gardens consist of 3 separate areas which are the Lower, Central and Upper Gardens. The Lower Gardens host many events and lots of them are free. The Central Gardens has a play area suitable for toddlers up to teenagers with wooden play equipment, sand pit, a slide and zip line. The Upper Gardens are quieter and ideal for peace and quiet. Facilities in the Gardens include refreshment kiosks and public toilets plus you will also find the bandstand, the Bournemouth Eye, mini golf and a small aviary.

Boscombe Chine Gardens, Bournemouth

Lovely gardens with enclosed play area, water play feature, 18 hole mini golf, café and toilets.

Christchurch Quay

The Quay has plenty for children to do including the splash park (open May to Oct), a children's play area, cafes, boat hire and ferry trips, crazy golf and public toilets. Pay and Display Car Parks are nearby but they do get very busy in the summer.

Poor Common, Casterbridge Road, Ferndown

This park has a junior and toddler play area.

Woodlands Play Area, Off Verwood Road, Wimborne

Large play area with on street parking near by.

Victoria Close Play Area, Corfe Mullen

The play park has slides, swings, log bridge, picnic tables and much more. You will find on street parking near by.

Potterne Park, Potterne Way, Verwood

Play area is suitable for all age groups and even has a trim trail which is a fitness trail running around the park.

Borough Gardens, Dorchester

Located within a few minutes walking distance from the town centre you will find entrances between Albert Road and Princes Street. Fully enclosed play park for all ages with a splash pool. You will also find adult fitness equipment, tennis courts, a bowling green, refreshments kiosk, public toilets and bandstand.

Radipole Park and Gardens, Radipole Park Drive, Weymouth

Large play area suitable for all ages. The park also has a skate park, beautiful gardens and free parking near by.

The Grove, Portland

Large play area with a fenced ball court.

Easton Gardens, Easton Square, Portland

Enclosed park with lovely play area and toilet facilities.

Anning Road Park, Lyme Regis

Play park has a basket ball area, BMX track and football pitch.
