Wednesday 29 May

Fun, interactive class teaching children about cat welfare.  The workshop will run for an hour and the session will be split into two parts - 30 minutes of activities and 30 minutes of free time; where children can interact with the cats in the cafe, join in with colouring activity or enjoy some yummy food.

Ranger AJ has been to the deepest and darkest parts of the jungle to seek some unique and incredible animals to photograph and catalogue.  Sadly, on his way back to camp he got a bit stuck and needs your help to get out and back home.  With their learning through laughter approach to what they do, you will have a great time meeting some incredible animals, no doubt with a few screams along the way!

Hosted in the Square, the day will bring education shows and entertainment together with a range of other family friendly activities, including large garden games, animal meet and greets, and face painting.
The day begins with a free show from the team at Mad4Animals, and will include an hour long set from popular children’s entertainer Nick Cope at 2pm.
The event will conclude with a silent disco between 4pm and 5pm, and headphones can be rented for £2 per pair. All money raised from the silent disco and other activities at the event will be donated to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital as part of the One Great Day Children’s Charity event.
