SWANAGE

Info: The theme for the 2026 Carnival is ‘Wacky Western in Carnival Canyon’. This popular event starts on Saturday 25th July and in addition to family friendly activities, live music, performances and air displays, there will be firework displays across the bay at 9.45pm on Saturday 25th July, Wednesday 29th July, and Saturday 1st August 2026.

POOLE QUAY

Info: Evening entertainment on Poole Quay includes live music, children’s entertainment and family fun. The evening ends with a dazzling firework display over the harbour at 10pm every Thursday from 30th July to 27th August 2026.

LYME REGIS

Info: Lyme Regis Carnival week starts with a bang as the harbour offers a stunning backdrop for a spectacular fireworks display at 9.30pm on Friday 31st July 2026. Carnival week is packed full of fun events and activities for all the family to enjoy, culminating in the Grand Carnival Procession on Saturday 8th August 2026.

WEYMOUTH SEAFRONT

Info: Spend the evening on Weymouth Esplanade enjoying the seafront attractions and then stand back to watch the grand fireworks display which is on every Monday at 9.30pm from Monday 3rd August to Monday 31st August 2026.

WAREHAM QUAY

Info: Wareham Wednesdays host fun theme nights with musical guests, stalls and lots of family entertainment every Wednesday in August 2026. All events end with a fantastic fireworks displays near the Quay at 10pm.

BOURNEMOUTH SEAFRONT

Info: The summer firework displays can traditionally be seen over the water near Bournemouth Pier at 10pm every Friday in August. Dates TBC.

CHRISTCHURCH

Info: There’s so much going on in Christchurch over the Carnival weekend with live music, stalls, children’s entertainers and fun for all the family. The fireworks display over the river will start at 9.30pm on Saturday 15th August 2026.
